Founder Ismoiljon "Isaac" Makhmudov began his career in Uzbekistan working in imports and exports of produce and commodities. Through those experiences, he developed a strong understanding of global supply chains — and built relationships with professionals across the trucking industry.
Isaac transitioned into logistics, supporting U.S. trucking companies through outsourced dispatch operations. Working alongside American carriers, he came to recognize an opportunity — to build something of his own, on disciplined fundamentals.
Partnering with a U.S.-based driver looking to expand, Isaac co-founded Sigma Express Inc. The company was built around a clear thesis: an asset-based fleet, all team drivers, no shortcuts on safety or compliance.
Isaac relocated to the United States to establish the company's Orlando office and continue scaling operations. Through disciplined growth and a commitment to reinvestment, Sigma began compounding its capacity year over year.
